Fiddler's Grove is a mock version of the old days of Wilson County. They have all of the buildings set up in a circle and you are able to read the history behind all of the buildings and companies. I love this part of the fair, it is much more relaxed and I love history. They have demonstrations of how the blacksmiths worked, the grainery made cornmeal, and how to make homemade brooms. Some of this may look familiar to some, because this is right across from the building where we had our reception!

LOOK! Abe Lincoln came to the Wilson County Fair! haha

This is a 13yr old who was in the tractor pull!

The Wilson County Fair was breaking records again this year. We had more people this year than ever before. The weather was wonderful and cool and it really helped bring in the visitors. Jason and I went on the first Saturday and on this night there were 99,000 people who came!! Jason and I don't go to the fair to ride the rides so we watch the shows, look at booths, and eat the oh-so healthy "fair food." We really enjoy the fair every year and this year was no different!

The wedding

Under the canopy of trees

On July 26th one of my friends from nursing school, Dale, married his best friend. It was a beautiful ceremony under the trees. It was all held at Dale's childhood home which was amazing as well. The wedding was held in the middle of the country with God's country all around. As soon as the wedding started it began to rain. It rained through the whole ceremony but it was still beautiful and an unforgettable ceremony. We enjoyed the day and the extra shower and wish only the best for Dale and Lindsey.

P.S. All the pictures are before the rain obviously because afterwards we all looked like drowned rats.. hahaha!

We had a going away dinner for Heather & Trenton, and surprised her with all their friends coming to eat and say bye too. We had a really good turn out and everybody enjoyed spending time together. These are only a few of the pictures that we got. This was the last night they were in TN, they headed out the next morning to Iowa. We sure do miss them and can't wait to see them soon.
